"Here I am, packing my truck to head out of town for the weekend. My friend who is riding with me is in route. He'll be here in 15 minutes. I am nearly packed, and I just have to grab something out of the bed and stash it in into my cellar. I open the door...only to find the floor of the cellar is covered in water. I follow the trail back into the space, and find a seem on my 2007 water heater has finally rusted out, and it is leaking water all over the floor. This...is not good. I had recently met the owner of Pipe Hitter Plumbing at an event in our town. I don't have a plumber I have worked with, and figured someone local would be a great place to start and he seems like good guy. I give him a call. He answers the phone, I tell him the problem, and he tells me to hang up and send some pictures of the unit to assess next steps. He'll call me back. 5 minutes later the phone rings. "Sorry to say you'll need a new water heater. I will be there in 45 minutes with a new unit. See you soon." I nearly dropped my phone. What followed was a whirlwind of polite professionalism and great trade work. They showed up with the unit and got to work immediately. They were pleasant, communicative. The kind of folks that make it look really easy, which is always a good sign. They were done in an hour. They took the old unit with them, and within an hour or two from my call it looked as though nothing had happened in my basement. The invoice was extremely reasonable. Doesn't really get better than that. I was on the road before lunchtime, and these guys saved my weekend. I really can't recommend Pipe Hitter Plumbing more. They are skilled, efficient, the owners are in the trenches doing the work, and it is a veteran owned business. Just hire these folks...you won't regret it."

“Plumbers” doesn’t begin to describes these guys. At our house we consider them to be auxiliary family members! Sure - the Tonys, as we call them - have all the regular plumbing skills - in spades - but what makes them shine are the extras - the absolute commitment to service, their devotion to problem solving, and their enthusiasm for seeing the whole picture - not just focusing on a specific plumbing challenge. I could give a dozen examples but here’s a fave. When a lousy Lowe’s install team showed up with our new Bosch fridge one Saturday morning and declared it “impossible” to hook up to our copper water line, I called Tony P in a panic for help. No problem - “Let me just finish up my breakfast and I’ll be right over!” An hour later, the install was complete. And when we undertook a kitchen overhaul this summer, they managed it soup to nuts - effectively running it like GCs. They are simply fantastic. Oh - and as an extra benefit - they’re FUN and FUNNY! These guys are like the Abbot and Costello of plumbing - great sense of humor. Best of the best!"
